A breakdown can happen anywhere, but Las Vegas heat, heavy traffic and busy freeways can make it especially stressful. Knowing what to do before calling for help can keep you and your vehicle safer.
Get to a safe location. If your vehicle can still move, pull as far off the roadway as possible. Turn on your hazard lights and avoid standing near moving traffic.
Know where you are. Check the nearest cross street, freeway exit, hotel, casino or landmark. Sharing an accurate location helps the tow truck reach you faster.
Tell the towing company what happened. Let them know whether the vehicle has a flat tire, dead battery, accident damage, overheating problem or another issue. Also provide the year, make and model when possible so the right equipment can be dispatched.
Stay safe while you wait. In extreme Las Vegas heat, stay hydrated and use air conditioning if the vehicle can safely remain running. If you are in a dangerous traffic location or there has been an accident with injuries, contact emergency services first.
Pitbull Towing provides 24/7 towing and roadside assistance throughout Las Vegas, with response times often around 45 minutes or less depending on traffic and location.
